Acropolis

  • The famous ruins of ancient Greece, the acropolis, dates back to the 4th century BC and is the most visited site in Greece. The acropolis consists of many buildings which include the Parthenon, the main temple. Temple of Athena Nike and Erechtheum which were temples dedicated to Gods. Also there's a theatre called the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and a few other things to see.


Ancient Agora

  • Another ruins site right next to the Acropolis and famous for being the residential and commercial centre of Greece. The main site there is the Temple of Hephaestus and is considered one of the best preserved ruins. You also have the Agora of Athens Museum which is in a recreation of one of the old buildings.
